Paradise and Caliente
Look! They're still there as of December 2009. We should put a plaque inside. "...Ejected by big Skinhead" - a turning point in musical history.In the 1980's the Caliente used to be called "The Oasis". It had a swimming pool and I was too young to get into the Afrika Bambaata gig so I sat outside and listened and it was great.
